First documented PC build

Second Pc build ever. what happened to the first one? long gone after 8 years :/

Spec:

• CPU:              i7 950
• GPU:              Two GTX 295
• RAM:             6Gb ddr3 1333Mhz
• PSU:               1000w silverstone semi modular
• SSD:               256Gb corsair P256
• M/B:               ASUS Rampage Gene II

Mods

Three 80mm whole were drilled into the top of the case for extra cooling because of how much heat the system was kicking out. without the added fans the GPU's would thermal throttle at 105 degrees and would even reach temps up to 107 degree with benchmarks

Part of the side mard drive mount had to be cut away to accommodate the second GTX 294 and the hard drive case had to be relocated to a further back position by drilling out new mounting wholes

The total cost of the build set me back about £3000
